Festive Halloween muffins with colorful orange and black batters, perfect for a fun breakfast or themed gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (orange and black)
  • Decorative sprinkles or icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Add food coloring to tint one bowl orange and the other bowl black.
  7. Fill muffin tins with alternating spoonfuls of the orange and black batter.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack and decorating.
  10. Serve and enjoy with family and friends.

Notes

For dairy-free options, substitute milk with almond or oat milk, and butter with margarine. Use good-quality food coloring for vibrant hues.
