Ingredients
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (for melting)
1 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for coating)
1 cup gummy bears
1 cup candy corn
1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
1 cup mini marshmallows
½ cup Halloween-themed sprinkles (orange, black, purple)
Instructions
Prepare your workstation: Gather all your ingredients and tools—mixing bowls, spatula, parchment paper, and baking sheets.
Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, gently heat the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted. If using white chocolate, melt it in a separate bowl.
Coat the candies: Dip each piece of candy in the melted chocolate, making sure it’s fully covered. Use a fork to lift the candy out and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Add decorations: While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the Halloween-themed sprinkles over the coated candy.
Set on parchment: Place the coated candies on parchment paper-lined baking sheets. This will keep them from sticking.
Chill to harden: Transfer the sheets to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
Assemble your collection: Once hardened, arrange the candies in a decorative bowl or package them in treat bags for gifting.
Notes
Feel free to substitute ingredients as you like; consider adding flavor extracts for a twist.
