Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or your choice)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, coating well, and let sit for about 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat a large pan over medium heat, add the marinated chicken, and cook for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Melt the Cheese: Lower the heat, sprinkle cheese over the chicken, and cover the pan to melt the cheese evenly.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Once melted, remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve with cooked rice.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cut uniformly for even cooking. Adjust gochujang according to spice preference.
