A comforting and flavorful one-pot dish featuring tender chicken thighs in a rich, creamy paprika sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the chopped onions until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the paprika, stirring well for about 30 seconds.
  5. Sear the chicken thighs until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Simmer with chicken broth, cover, and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Prepare the sauce by mixing sour cream and flour, then gradually stirring into the chicken mixture.
  8. Thicken the sauce by cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
