Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak bites (sirloin or tenderloin)
  • 14 ounces garlic tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak bites in a large skillet with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the skillet with the steak for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Create the sauce by pouring in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer, and stirring to combine with the steak and garlic.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until well coated.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. To enhance flavor, use freshly grated cheese and fresh garlic.
