A quick and comforting dish featuring succulent chicken breasts in a rich, creamy sauce over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Then, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the heavy cream and stir well to combine.
  7. Carefully place the chicken back into the skillet, ensuring it is covered with the creamy sauce.
  8. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  9. Serve the creamy chicken over the cooked rice, generously topped with the sauce.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and quality chicken broth for the best flavor. If using low-fat milk, the creaminess may be altered.
