A delightful dish that transforms simple chicken breasts into a tender, flavorful meal with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring they are spread evenly.
  2. Whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well covered.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred the chicken in the sauce using two forks and stir well to coat.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.

Notes

Heavy cream adds richness to the sauce, but you can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter option. If you’re short on time, pre-minced garlic works in a pinch.
