A quick and delightful dish featuring crispy chicken pieces in a sweet and tangy sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange three bowls for breading: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Bake the chicken pieces on a baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
  6. Mix hot sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
  7. Toss the baked chicken in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve over steamed rice or with noodles for a complete meal.
