Ingredients
8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 3 minutes of boiling the pasta, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Chicken: In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the pot in a single layer and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and add the minced garlic to the pot, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked fettuccine and broccoli back into the pot. Gently toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce and heated through.
Serve: Transfer your Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli to serving plates. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overcook the pasta and ensure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
