A comforting Chicken Pot Pie that’s easy to prepare with flaky crusts and a creamy filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade, thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup of cooked chicken, diced
  • 10.5 oz can of cream of chicken soup
  • 10 oz bag of frozen veggies (peas and carrots)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the diced cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, and frozen veggies in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place one pie crust in a pie dish and pour in the chicken mixture.
  4. Cover the filling with the second pie crust and trim any excess dough.
  5. Cut several slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Handle the pie crust gently to avoid tearing. For a golden crust, brush with an egg wash before baking.
