An easy-to-make, light, and versatile frosting that can be frozen and used for various desserts, making it perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • a pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Chill the equipment: Place your mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Combine ingredients: In the chilled bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Whip the cream: Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, begin whipping the mixture on medium speed. Once combined, increase to high speed. Whip until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Check the consistency: Continue whipping until you reach stiff peaks, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Taste and adjust: Taste the frosting and add more powdered sugar or flavoring if desired.
  6. Freeze for later use: Transfer it to an airtight container and freeze if not using immediately.

Notes

Use cold cream for better whipping. Avoid overmixing as it can turn the cream gritty.
