A delightful chocolate treat with a colorful, crunchy exterior filled with Halloween candies, perfect for sharing during the festive season.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup assorted Halloween candies (candy corn, gummy worms, chocolate pumpkins)
  • ¼ cup Halloween-themed sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Spread the base: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared sheet, spreading it into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Melt the white chocolate: Repeat the melting process with the white chocolate chips until smooth.
  4. Drizzle the white chocolate: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the semi-sweet layer and swirl together for a marbled effect.
  5. Add candies and sprinkles: Distribute the assorted candies over the chocolate layers and press down gently. Sprinkle with Halloween-themed sprinkles if desired.
  6. Chill the bark: Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate has completely set.
  7. Break into pieces: Break the bark into pieces using your hands or a knife.

Notes

Quality chocolate is key for best flavor; avoid chocolate chips with stabilizers that won’t melt smoothly. Work quickly to prevent chocolate from setting.
