These Halloween-inspired Spooky Spider Deviled Eggs are a fun and delicious festive treat that appeal to both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Black olives, sliced
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot covered with cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, then let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in a bowl of ice water for about 10 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs under cool running water to make removal easier.
  4. Prepare the filling by mashing the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  6. Create spiders by slicing black olives; use halves for bodies and strips for legs.

Notes

Ensure eggs are fresh for easier peeling. Don’t overcrowd the olives on the eggs for a neat presentation.
