Warm and savory, these Juicy Baked Pork Chops are a delightfully easy way to bring comfort to your dinner table, ensuring moist and flavorful meat with minimal prep time.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub each pork chop with olive oil and season evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme or rosemary, black pepper, salt, and optional chili flakes.
  3. Melt the butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Place the seasoned pork chops in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check doneness without cutting into the meat. Let the pork chops rest after cooking for juicier results.
