Ingredients
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, light brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in an oven-safe baking dish. Dot the top with pieces of butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to check doneness, and consider marinating the chicken overnight for enhanced flavor.
