A rich and comforting chicken casserole with creamy layers and a crunchy topping, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, diced onion, minced garlic, and cream of chicken soup in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  3. Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, smoothing the top.
  4. Add the crushed Ritz crackers over the mixture and drizzle with melted butter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese and other dairy are at room temperature for smooth mixing. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
