Slime Filled Halloween Cookies

Deliciously soft and chewy cookies filled with a gooey slime surprise, perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp orange food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Food coloring of choice (green or purple)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla and optional food coloring.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients on low speed until just combined.
  6. Combine the marshmallow fluff, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and food coloring in a separate bowl until smooth.
  7. Scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of slime filling in the center, then seal and roll into a ball.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Ensure cookies are sealed well to prevent the filling from leaking during baking. You can customize the filling color and add toppings.
