Tender meatballs simmered in rich marinara sauce, this dish is perfect for any gathering or family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Transfer the meatballs to the slow cooker in a single layer.
  4. Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve your meatballs with spaghetti, in sub rolls, or alongside a salad.

Notes

Ground beef can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Use Panko breadcrumbs for a different texture. Fresh parsley brightens the flavors, but dried parsley can be used if fresh is unavailable.
