Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the milk and gently fold until just combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries carefully.
  6. Shape the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1-inch thick and cut out biscuits.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill dough for 15-30 minutes for best texture. Avoid overmixing and ensure ingredients are cold.
