Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vodka or flavored liqueur (or lemon-lime soda for non-alcoholic)
- 1 package (3 oz) green gelatin (lime flavor suggested)
- 1 cup whipped cream (optional for topping)
- Gummy eyeballs or candies for decoration
- 1 cup water (for blue layer)
- 1 cup blue raspberry soda (or lemonade)
- 1 package (3 oz) blue gelatin
Instructions
- Boil the water in a medium saucepan.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and dissolve the packet of green gelatin in the boiling water.
- Stir in 1 cup of vodka (or non-alcoholic substitute) into the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the mixture into shot glasses or small plastic cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight until completely set.
- Prepare the blue layer by repeating the boiling process with blue gelatin.
- Fill the cups with the cooled blue gelatin layer on top of the green layer and chill until firm.
- Top with whipped cream (if using) and garnish each shot with a gummy eyeball.
Notes
Feel free to mix and match gelatin flavors and colors for a fun twist. Ensure gelatin fully sets before adding layers.
